TISRA: Zakir Hussain with Debopriya Chatterjee and Sabir Khan | April 20, 2024
Tabla virtuoso Zakir Hussain is proud to present TISRA (three) with two of India’s finest young musicians, Sabir Khan and Debopriya Chatterjee. This unique trio is comprised of tabla, sarangi and bansuri (bamboo flute)—a combination not often heard on the classical stage. TISRA showcases the rich folk and classical traditions of the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Punjab.

ABT Studio Company, the young professional company of American Ballet Theatre, is made up of rising ballet stars between ages 17 and 21. ABT Studio Company prepares these outstanding young dancers to enter American Ballet Theatre or other leading ballet companies worldwide. The evening’s program will be a mix of classical, neoclassical and original works.
