The performing arts have the profound ability to inspire performers and audiences alike to reach for the stars, discover new perspectives, and strengthen bonds between individuals through shared transformative experiences.
TOArts has an ambitious goal to broaden access and exposure to the arts for this and future generations.
Leadership
TOArts supports and advances the visual and performing arts. TOArts is governed by an independent Board of Directors, and thanks to the generosity of the City of Thousand Oaks, key city staff support TOArts general operations on a day-to-day basis.
TOArts is also guided by its advisory council with members drawn from former Alliance and Foundation Boards, Legacy Founders, and community and business leaders. They serve as the ambassadors of TOARTS providing advice and support to the Board.
Thanks to the generosity of the City of Thousand Oaks, key staff members from the city’s Cultural Affairs and Finance departments provide staff to fill the following TOArts positions on a pro bono basis: Executive Director, Associate Director, Finance Director, Marketing Director, City Attorney, Box Office support and Administrative Assistance.

OUR MISSION
TOArts inspires and elevates arts, culture, and entertainment through presentation, education, and collaboration to provide community support at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center and beyond.
Legacy Founders
The Founders listed here are the original donors of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, now known as Bank of America Performing Arts Center. These individuals and businesses supported and believed in the vision that a few citizens had to first build and then continue to support and sustain the Bank of America Performing Arts Center.
TOArts Organizational Structure
TOArts is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation that provides fundraising and programmatic support to the Bank of America Performing Arts Center at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
